Berlin 2025
15 students and 2 teachers made an unforgettable study trip to Berlin in April 2025. During the trip, they delved into the history of Germany and Berlin, especially the Cold War era, and learned about the history of the European Union and its current activities. The students also got to enjoy making art in the crisp spring weather.
Students and teachers from Berlin's Charlotte-Wolff-Kollege actively participated in the program throughout the week, and preliminary plans were already being made for a return visit by CWK to Eira.
Hopefully it will happen in the near future!

Leaving for a trip at Helsinki-Vantaa!
We had to switch planes at Helsinki-Vantaa, so had to wait for a new plane. Our plans for the day in Berlin had to be changed.
We arrived in Berlin late on Sunday, but we had time to walk around the city and eat our first döners!
On Monday, the program included a city tour and urban sketching with students from Charlotte Wolff Kolleg.
We also visited the Humbolt Forum Ethnological Museum. Here are some artifacts from Tanzania.

On Tuesday we visited Charlotte Wolff College. In a common room we learned about the history of Germany after World War II.
We visited Checkpoint Charlie.
The visit to the Jewish Museum was impressive. The building is beautiful and the amount of information was great.
In the Jewish Museum, the students played a game where Jews try to escape Nazi Germany.
